Otaku Ramen

This ramen shop in Tennessee is decorated in the typical Tennessee style: square, practical, and traditional with an artistic touch. The taste is considered good for Tennessee. The service is friendly and welcoming. The Japanese tonkotsu ramen would be even better if it were presented like a typical Japanese ramen!

Love otaku ramen; not only for their food, but also for their service. They are always very thoughtful and make you feel confortable. They are very well staff, the place is always clean and like I said, I think they do a very good job training their staff. Dumpling will always be my favorite but also the soup my boyfriend good was so good that day. I don’t remember the name but I know it was a vegetarian option and he just added the pork chop. I highly recommend it.

Food was great. Atmosphere was nice. The only issue I had (that had nothing to do with the food) is the fact that an employee was in the bathroom for 15 minutes. I stood there and waited between 2 single stall bathrooms. Now, it’s none of my business what’s going on with other people in their private time, but I was a little peeved. I walked all the way there to eat and I couldn’t sit and order or look at the menu yet because of this.

This spot popped up when I searched “Asian food” on Google Maps. It had a bunch of great reviews, so of course we had to try it. We ordered the TN Tonkotsu Shio ramen and the Szechuan Miso ramen. OMG SO GOOD!! My bf and I agreed there was a bit too much sodium but considering we cleaned our bowls, clearly it was not overloaded with salt and it was still enjoyable. Take away a pinch of salt, and the flavor is on par with some of the best ramen I’ve had in the Bay Area, and the quality was great as well. The service was prompt and the restaurant itself was clean and welcoming. The reviews are right. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend this spot!

Otaku Ramen is my go‑to spot for affordable, spicy, convenient, delicious and authentic ramen. Top 3 things I loved: 1) Affordable prices 2) Flavorful spicy broth 3) Fast and convenient service. I often find it when searching for ramen near me and the authentic Japanese restaurant vibe makes it feel like the best ramen in town. I also appreciate the easy ramen delivery option. Highly recommend!

Nice little ramen shop. Service and atmosphere was excellent. I had the “Tennessee” tonkotsu ramen. What seemed to set it apart was a pork patty cooked much like a hamburger. It was delicious—a touch salty, but that blended well with the soup. The broth was flavor and the straight ramen noodles were cooked perfectly. A good stop if you are looking for ramen in Nashville.
